Fencing
I can carry out repairs to fence posts and replace a fence panel, however I am not a fencing contractor, so I do not carry out full fence replacements.
I can replace a single rotten fence post, or a maximum of two, and a single fence panel. I can also repair parts of damaged fences. For a full fence replacement, please contact a fencing company. You can do that here:
Removing old fence posts can be very difficult to do, and requires expert techniques. It can take half a day to remove an old fence post, and it is hard labour, not gardening!
A new post, set in concrete, takes 3 days to set. That means that after setting the post, I will have to arrange to return at a later date to screw the fence back onto the the new fence post.
I can transport fence posts by car, but I cannot transport fence panels. If you wish to buy a new fence panel, I suggest that you order one online from Wickes and select home delivery. Their delivery charge for this is very reasonable. If you would like me to fit it, please make sure that I have confirmed your booking with me, before buying any materials. If you are ordering a fence panel, make sure that you have measured it accurately before ordering, to make sure that they deliver the correct sized panel; they are made in various sizes!

- To replace a single fence post only, select Price Band [D] - Hard Labour/ Landscaping, Half a Day.
- To replace a single fence post and one fence panel, select Price Band [D] - Hard Labour/ Landscaping, Five Hours.
- To replace a two fence posts and one fence panel, select Price Band [D] - Hard Labour/ Landscaping, Full Day.
